Modern Day Sattraps

The past 7 weeks my small group has been studying the book of Daniel. We are doing a Beth Moore Study. One thing that I saw this week was how the satraps were out to get Daniel because they were jealous of his ability and did not like him because he relied on the almighty.

Many years later it sounds very similar to extreme liberals in Congress who want to get Bush because they don't like him because of his beliefs. In one city which would definately be considered a key Babylonian city there is an issue on the ballot calling for the impeachment of our president. I have a concern about the election. I fear that if liberals win control of both houses we will see these sattraps try to conspire against Bush the way the satraps did with Daniel in Daniel 6.
